Re: if, IF we got new owners
I would like them to reinstate the ethos of the club that I started supporting 40+ years ago. That is we stick together no matter what and get behind our team hero and villains alike. We are all west ham and everyone on the pitch and in the stadium is part of a big family. Indeed, I would like them to put up a sign in the stadium that says 'The Game is about Family' as a dig to the Spurs 'the game is about glory' sign and show what we stand for.

The playing style is to hurt the opposition at every given opportunity. None of this cagey playing "not to lose" rubbish. However the team battles for the ball and is organized out of possession. The team is to be based on passing ability, not hoofing ability.

The recruitment is to be based on finding players that want play for the club and join "the family" first and foremost. Based on a good scouting network that finds players with the right character. Many of these players will come from the Academy too. Any player that wants to leave can do so, but if our best\\promising players don't want to leave, don't sell them for any price.

I want us to be established enough to not have to worry about relegation each season and to have enough of a squad to compete properly in cups and have a dart at European football most seasons.

Do that and you'd unite the club again.

Bring back the boards where they have those letters on, with each letter corresponding to the other games going on, with the HT scores indicated underneath.

I'd echo what a lot have said here.

Something nostalgic that no one has mentioned is that I wouldn't mind seeing the players come out to the Post Horn Gallop. They might reach the pitch side by the time the horn player has finished at the London Stadium.

Re: if, IF we got new owners
A new stadium would be idea of course but as Spurs found out not cheap at nearly a £billion. As for aquiring the London stadium with a view to rebuild it, not as straight forward as you would think as Gonso pointed out over on Hammers chat. The Stadium is a state asset and would have to tendered for.And as Gonso also stated we could have had it for £90m before Levy stepped in.Still I suppose thats the last of our worries at the moment.

Quick win - remove London from the badge.

Whilst I hate the athletics bowl and would love to have a purpose built football stadium for me that isnt the reason we are in the position we are in and should be part of a longer term 5 - 10 year strategy.

The club is totally directionless and lacks the infrastructure and resources to compete at this level. For me new owners need to invest in the training facilities, invest in the scouting network, invest in a management framework a strategy and an ethos that can deliver a continuously improving team on the pitch and gives us a solid foundation for growth instead of the knee jerk scatter gun approach we have had for the last 10 years or more. For me that should be the 5-10 year strategy. Sort all that out first and then fix the stadium

Re: if, IF we got new owners
Simple… move from the Shit hole and make a stadium that we can all be proud in… that and invest heavily in our youth… the rest?? Not that bothered… they would be the 2 main things on the agenda…

Re: if, IF we got new owners
Firstly appoint a young manager that plays exciting football to help improve results immediately

If American owners, Jesse Marsch (american) from red bull Salzburg would be my target, they play lovely football and could poach few of their players

Give the manager the funds to sort out problem positions like full backs straight away until the recruitment/analysis team can be brought in for long term plan

Might be unpopular but arrange a ground share with another club or Wembley and get the stadium pitch and stands re-configured as quick as possible

Re: if, IF we got new owners
While it did not seem a massive deal at the time, done for moving on and that, the decision by Brady to rebrand West Ham and take the castle from the badge was a ‘clever’ one.
It basically cut the ties to the old ground and our history.
What do we have left now, the customers the fans who are still useful to GSB as they provide an income for them, that’s all.

While a new fit for purpose stadium is a dream, it’s unlikely. We are left with something that looks and appears temporary.

With new owners I’d want the castle back on the badge for starters, a quick win against the GSB occupation.
Then, assuming the stadium will be ours in time develop it to look like a castle with turrets e.g. put a stamp on it.
The stadium is surrounded by water of sorts, that’s the moat.
Inside, put turrets up in those areas where nothing can be done, shift the pitch near to one side for the home supporters. Develop the other side, but as a whole make the ground unique, make it look like a fortress.
